Intellectual Property Theft
Just this morning I got an e-mail from the good people over at HDTV Test, who are one of very few sites out there who do what we both call "comprehensive reviews" of HDTVs.
Vincent, who writes for the site, wrote to me to tell me that another site called HDTVOrg - do NOT give them the visit - had in fact ripped off my review of the Playstation 3's Blu-ray and DVD capabilities. One of them was basically a complete copy and paste of my DVD Times review (although they weren't able to copy the pictures). The other was an even crappier cut-down version of the same.
The funny part is that for one of the knock-offs, they couldn't even be bothered reformatting it to fit their site and have simply lifted the HTML code, resulting in strange formatting. There's also this:

Guys. You aren't even trying. To the best of my knowledge there is only one Ren & Stimpy obsessed hardware reviewer out there and he doesn't write for web sites as crappy as yours.
HDTVOrg have been contacted but as of yet have not commented. If they fail to remove the plagiarised articles from their site, their web host's Legal Department will become involved, as will DVDTimes' solicitors, probably resulting in their gravy-train being taken offline.

It was only a matter of time. I've noticed that HDTVOrg website linked to a few times on AVForums now and it always looked dodgy to me (reviews written as if they're slightly lengthened spec sheets etc), but at least someone spotted it.
NONE SHALL PASS!
(+1 for the game reference, surely? ;))
