Some more crappy camera phone snaps from be before I head out on my Atlantic voyage.

This is a life-sized snow dome on Buchanan Street, Glasgow. The idea, I guess, was that families would pose inside for holiday photos. Of course, the entire point was soon nixed and a sign was placed up saying that no photographs were allowed, “due to child protection regulations”, so I guess families were expected to pose in the snow dome, wait for the countdown, and attempt to make a mental image of the joyous event (although I’m sure that will be illegal soon, too). More fun resulting from the British obsession with child abusers. Sorry kids, Christmas is cancelled and it’s for your own good!

Veggie sushi with too much wasabi always clears a blocked nose!

Apparently, “Leaving Scotland is always hard”. No, it really isn’t, look at the weather outside. Oh my, it is so hard to leave the -3 degree frost for sunny Nevada. How will I hold back the tears?
Anyone else going to CES this year?

No. I go back to school tomorrow. Classes resume Wednesday.
I’d love to attend some day (that, NAB and E3).
